Mesothelioma Awareness - Leading from behind
Nov 22, 2022Dr Richard Sullivan is well known for a lot of things - clinical excellence, leadership, thinking differently, challenging stereotypes...and running. Probably not so much the running, although he has more kilometers under his belt than most of us.
Richard recently took on the Queenstown half-marathon, along with half of his family to help raise awareness for the Mesothelioma Support and Asbestos Awareness Trust of which he is a trustee. He treats many patients suffering from mesothelioma and is passionate about ensuring patients and whanau who experience mesothelioma get world-class care and treatment.
This newly created Trust's aim is to educate and connect people affected by mesothelioma.
